The problems associated with digital switchover are greatly increased when applied to communal television systems. Grosvenor Telecom engineers have trained extensively in broadcast electronics, IRS/SMATV systems, and digital television systems with the Confederation of Aerials Industries (CAI), Digital UK, and the University of Wales.

The company is accredited by the CAI at ‘CAI Plus’ standard and includes members of the Society of Cable and Telecommunications engineers (SCTE), and the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET).

The company is currently examining the convergence of digital television systems with internet technologies for interactive applications, as well as the impact of High Definition television, emerging Super Blu-Ray and 3D television technology.
