Access Control

Access Control

Grosvenor Telecom has extensive experience in the installation and servicing of access control systems. Established methods of access control such as coded keypads, key fobs, and smart cards are rapidly being extended and in some cases replaced by leading edge technologies. Such systems might include proximity Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) devices, or biometrics such as fingerprint, iris, face, and voice recognition.

Access control systems may also include features such as time profiling and attendance logging. This allows for all system activity to be recorded digitally meaning that each time a person enters or leaves a secure area the event will be logged for inspection at a later date. Notifications of attempted unauthorised access to secure areas can be sent to security personnel electronically by, for example, email or SMS for rapid response.

As the technology used in these types of access control systems increases in complexity convergence with other security systems, such as CCTV and internet technology, is becoming more commonplace. For example, IP based systems may make use of control via computer networks to view CCTV as well as controlling entry to and from secure locations.

Grosvenor Telecom is a company that possesses the necessary skills and experience to combine complex security systems for all customer needs in both the private and public sectors.

Access control systems that the company has installed in the past include: Paxton, PAC (Stanley), Storm, BSB, ACT, HID, Bewator Group, Cooper Access, and others.
