About Us
Grosvenor Telecom was established in 1986 by Paul
and Norma Nicholls. Although they have been extremely successful and the
company has expanded considerably they are still the driving
force behind the company and still oversee the day to day running.
The front line management team are Lee
Roberts (Operations Manager)
and Paula Thomspon (Office Manager).
Lee Roberts ,our Operations Manager and has been with the company
for over 19 years. During this time he has gained a wealth of
knowledge in the specialised area in which we work.
For the duration of the time in which we have traded we have
worked for many major Local Councils and Housing Associations.
The service we have provided and the specialist knowledge that
we have acquired has gained us an enviable reputation.
Our engineers are knowledgeable in various areas, namely Warden
Call Systems, Door Entry Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV
Systems, Intruder Alarms Systems, Communal Television Systems
(Digital and Analogue), Radio systems, Smart Technology, and
Dispersed Alarm Units.
We have experience in installing much of the markets newest
technology as well as being well versed in the installation,
maintenance and service of some of the more dated but still widely
used systems such as Wolsey Carecall and Omega. Although these
systems are now obsolete we can still repair the systems and
carry a large stock of spares. A range of companies throughout
the UK use our repair facilities including the larger manufacturers
within the industry
Our Office Manager, Paula Thompson, joined the Company in 1998
and has been involved, amongst other things, in gaining NSI Gold
accreditation for Access Control Systems, Intruder Alarm Systems
and CCTV Systems and is currently in the process of gaining ISO
9001:2000 qualification to become
NSI Gold Quality Assured.
The Company also has accreditation from Constructionline, Confederation
of Aerial Industries, and Society of Cable Television Engineers.
We have a team of highly qualified bench engineers that work
on repairing and testing equipment. We also operate teams of
service and maintenance engineers that work on a 24 hour 365
day a year basis. Our installation teams are also highly competent
and second to none.
Along with the ever growing demand of work in our regular field
we are now installing, servicing and maintaining IRS systems.
With the ‘switch off’ looming we are among the few
companies in the area that have the ability to install digital
communal television systems to a high standard.
